KW116 is a COMMS/Hardware Lab with 80 stations (i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM) with a custom windows 10 image suitable for networking and hardware courses. Moreover, various bits of helpful hardware are available for use within the room (oscilloscopes, wave form generators, DC power supplies). All PCs are connected to a private network for teaching specialist networking labs.
Also, some specialist software is available only in this room – in particular, for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other low-level programming.
