MySQL

The instructions on this page are for the School’s MySQL server (hostname: mysql.cms.gre.ac.uk).

If you do not have a MySQL database you will need to visit the support counter in lab KW116 or email cms-support@gre.ac.uk to get a MySQL database created for you.

The security model deployed only allows certain pre-defined hosts to connect to the MySQL server. This excludes machines outside the University network.
