ALT Learning Technologist of the Year 2015: Project Team Shortlisted

ALT Learning Technologist of the Year awards

The Greenwich Connect Project Team (Simon Walker, Ralph Barthel, Antony Coombs, Mark Anderson, Michael Downes, Gosia Iwaniec, Tieska Jumbo, Lawal Muhammad, Yang Yang) were nominated for the annual ALT Learning Technologist of the Year awards this year. These awards, which have run since 2007, celebrate excellent practice and outstanding achievement in the learning technology field.

The team were shortlisted for the award and, despite not progressing further, received high praise from the selection panel. Reaching this stage put us amongst the final ten candidates for the team of the year category, in a year that saw a much larger than usual number of applicants.  The positive feedback commended our achievements, recognising our impact and value to the university.

The Awards ceremony took place during the ALT Annual Conference in Manchester on 9th September (see recording here).

The Greenwich Connect Project Team would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues and partners from around the university. The strength of our entry owes a great deal to the effective collaborative working that you continue to develop with us.  We would also like to send our congratulations to all of the finalists.
