Crystal Clear is an experimental spatial sound performance developed in response to the earliest known recording of classical music captured at the Crystal Palace, during the 1888 Handel Festival.
The graininess, clicks and noise of this early wax cylinder recording weaves playfully with natural and augmented sounds of the site, electronic music, noise and more. Join us on the concert platform or listen from afar; to hear the music and sounds travel spatially over the site in new and unexpected ways.
