Have you borrowed any books yet? When you’re ready to borrow books for your studies, come and see us at one of our Welcome Desks. We can show you how to use the self-service machines. You can borrow multiple items by placing them together in the slot and then scanning your student ID card. The machine will issue the items to your library account. Any items in red or items not issued can be dealt with by us at the Welcome Desk. You can choose to print out a receipt of the transaction. At Avery Hill and the Drill Hall Library the self-service machines are used to borrow and return your loaned items.
