Westlaw UK Profiles

In Westlaw UK you can now create an individual profile allowing you to get access to personalised features such as alerts, RSS feeds, Research Trail, Journal PDFs and Circulation Lists and the upcoming My Folders.
Remember Westlaw UK is accessed on and off campus via the portal. The eresources at Greenwich PDF can be viewed online or downloaded for more information. 

Changed access to UK Data Archive Census resources

When accessing the following resources and services:
CASWEB, Census Geography Data Unit (UKBORDERS), Centre for Data Estimation and Research (CIDER), Census: Samples of Anonymised Records (SARs), CHCC – Contemporary and Historical Census Collection, Census Registration Service (CRS), Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS) and ESDS International from the list of Databases you will be prompted to login via the UK Federation link and re-directed to the UK Federation ‘where are you from’ institutional list. Scroll down to select University of Greenwich from the list before proceeding to the eresource or service.
Note: you may be required to login again to the university portal in a new window and navigate to the My learning / Learning support pages to access the resource. Previous users may be required to re-register.

Web of Knowledge new features

In early February there will be new features and enhancements to the ISI Web of Knowledge e-resource.

ISI Web of Knowledge
  • Log queries to Search History.
    – Including “Search within results”, Refine and Analyze.
  • Funding acknowledgements:
    – Captured since August 2008.
    – Searchable and exportable.
    – 3 fields: Grant Agency, Grant #, Funding Acknowledgements.
  • CAB Global Health.
ISI Web of Knowledge Additional New features
  • Scientific WebPlus
    – Now uses the Thomson Reuters default login system, so that the ISI Web of Knowledge login credentials can be used.
  • Shibboleth compliance update:
    – to comply with regulations regarding a single sign in.
  • Distinct Author Identification System – Web of Science:
    – All author clusters have been updated.
