One in four of us will be affected by a mental health problem at some point in our lives.
Often the fact that it’s difficult to talk about mental health problems can be one of the hardest parts of having a mental illness. It can lead to the loss of friendships, feeling isolated, not seeking help and slower recovery.
Time to Change is an anti-stigma campaign run by the leading mental health charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness to end the discrimination that surrounds mental health. The campaign is funded by the Department of Health and Comic Relief .

The theme for this years World Pride Parade is ‘One World, One Pride, One Voice’ and all parade participants will be reflecting this in their float or walking group.
The World Pride Parade will start at Baker Street at 1 pm and make its way down Oxford Street and Regent Street, moving down Pall Mall and Cockspur Street as it passes Trafalgar Square and continues down Whitehall where it will end at around 4.30 pm.

A poll of more than 2,000 people conducted by YouGov for Stonewall has revealed that three in five people of faith support government plans to extend civil marriage to same-sex couples, despite a vitriolic campaign against the proposal by some faith leaders. Read more here:
There‘s only two weeks left until the government consultation on extending the legal form of marriage to same-sex couples closes. The proposal was not included in the recent Queen’s Speech but Stonewall is lobbying the government to press ahead with implementing this promise in the next 12 months in any case. Now’s the time to make your voice heard if you haven’t already done so.
