As part of Celebrate 2014 Friday 21 March was designated ‘Wear are you from’ day. The idea being that staff and students wear clothes that show either what country they come from or what region or town etc. Here is a photo of some HR colleagues dressed up for the day.
Yesterday saw an amazing turn out for Celebrate 2014. Running alongside the GK Unions Diversity Fayre, Celebrate was a huge success. A huge attraction was the Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs who totally stole the show, they were fantastic.
Here is Guide Dog Puppy Farrah and Hearing Dog Echo.
Our HR Colleague Lexie sporting a very magnificent pair of shoes for Celebrate 2014 showing off her South African background.
Not one to be shy about wearing her african outfits, although you can’t see her face its definately her feet!
As part of Celebrate 2014 our colleagues from Sodexho are joining in with us this coming Friday.
In the spirit of the event they have put together the following menu from around the world:
English MSC fish & chips
Chinese Pork Szechuan
Thai Spiced Vegetables & Noodles
So if you fancy something different for lunch on Friday come along to the Dome and join in with Celebrate 2014.
