A new chapter on partnership working in health and social care has been published in a book edited by staff in our School. The chapter is an interdisciplinary collaboration between Jackie Yaskey, Senior Lecturer in Social Work, and Dr Julia Morgan, Associate Professor in Public Health and Wellbeing. The focus of the chapter is on partnership working and safeguarding of children, with recommendations on how to enhance the integration of services to improve outcomes for services users.

The chapter is part of a new book, ‘Contemporary Issues in Health and Social Care Policy and Practice: A comparative introduction’, edited by Dr Morgan and Dr Vincent La Placa, Associate Professor of Public Health and Policy, both in the School of Human Sciences.

The book presents a comparative analysis of policy and practice in the field of health and social care and is published by the Taylor & Francis Group. It is available to read online here using your University of Greenwich login.
