Matthew Williams is an Associate at Renzo Piano Building Workshop and was the project architect on the Shard from concept to completion, a period of over 12 years. In this unique lecture Matthew will tell the story of how Europe’s largest building reinvents the rules of tall buildings and reveals the technological innovations that were made in the process.
