Rachel Armstrong is a former GP who decided that medicine wasn’t really interdisciplinary enough to suit her myriad interests. She’s now a pioneer in the field of living architecture (watch her TED talk about how we might stop Venice from sinking) and her holistic approach to biology, technology and the built environment has sparked some avant garde ideas which we believe will have a profound impact on the future.
