Peter graduated from Bristol University in 1991 and trained on largescale civil engineering projects in the UK and abroad. Further to gaining chartered status Peter took a 2 year sabbatical at Arch Bronze, a London art foundry, and trained in the process of lost wax casting before returning toengineering to focus on art and architecture. In 2004 he set up Structure Workshop Limited. The practice has the facility for 3D design, modelling, form finding and structural analysis. A workshop attached to the design studio allows prototyping and model making to compliment the design process. Close links with material suppliers, specialist fabricators and CNC manufacturers allows the practice to coordinate a wide range of skills and processes and bring them to bear on the projects they work on.
