General Data Protection Regulation guidance for researchers

UK Research and Innovation has provided some guidance on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for researchers of all disciplines. The guidance has been compiled with the support of the Information Commissioner’s Office and is an FAQ-style document providing facts and signposts to further sources of information.

Although the new legislation has not been designed specifically for research, it is important that researchers understand what GDPR means for them and the personal data that is processed during their research.
