What is Moodle?

Moodle is the University of Greenwich’s (UoG) Virtual Learning Environment. It provides an online learning space for use by both staff and students.

Moodle features a wide range of tools that are used to support learning and teaching. UoG Moodle is used to supplement taught courses, usually by providing essential information and materials; it may also be integrated more fully, becoming an essential component of the module. Some modules may have content, activities, collaboration tools and assessments for you to use within Moodle.
