On the 14th of January 2015 a new carpet was laid in the ‘Green Room’, originally called the Annexe at Avery Hill Mansion.
For a few hours only, the original, and almost perfect, Victorian tiled floor was revealed. We were able to photograph these in colour for the first and sadly last time.
