A practice research piece that demonstrates her knowledge gained<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congratulations to <strong>Maria\nVioque Nguyen<\/strong> and <strong>Agnese Pulvirenti<\/strong> (both year 3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/undergraduate-courses\/ach\/w210\">BA Hons Graphic and\nDigital Design<\/a>) for winning the ISTD Award (International Society of\nTypographic Designers) through the International Student Assessment Design\nAwards, and especially to Maria, who won a Commendation for her project, the\nhighest possible award. She achieved one of only 10 Commendations awarded in\nthe UK in 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the first ISTD\nCommendation which&nbsp;has been&nbsp;gained by the University of Greenwich, an\noutstanding result. The award demonstrates the knowledge that the students gained\nthroughout their studies and we are all very proud for their achievement. Well\ndone to all students participated to the ISTD awards this year \u2013 we had a\nnumber of great submissions!!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Special thanks to the Graphic\nDesign Academic Team and especially to <a href=\"https:\/\/belindamagee.com\/\">Belinda\nMagee<\/a> for guiding the students through the ISTD process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ISTD is recognised as the\nauthoritative body for Design and Typography in the UK, with growing influence\ninternationally (EU, Americas, Asia).
