Representatives from\nUniversity of Greenwich School of Design joined staff students and alumni from\nCambridge School of Art (Anglia Ruskin University) and Marseille Mediterranean\nSchool of Arts and Design (ESADMM) in workshopping and mounting an exhibition\nof responses to le Corbusier\u2019s Modulor. The Modulor is a system of scale le\nCorbusier devised for his buildings that is based on human proportions, a\nperfect example of which is found in his building \u201cUnit\u00e9 d\u2019Habitation\u201d in\nMarseille, where many of the visiting exhibitors, including ourselves, stayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resulting exhibition at Hors les Murs Gallery, Marseille opened on 7th – 22nd November. The University of Greenwich is represented by 2019 March graduate Daniella Yaneva, exhibiting a book and animation titled, \u201cMorphogenesis Man inhabiting Apartment 50, Unit\u00e9 d\u2019Habitation, Marseille\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘We\u2019re looking forward to hosting ESADMM and ARU in the University of Greenwich, Stockwell St. Galleries in the New Year’. David Waterworth<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

University of Greenwich Galleries will be hosting ARU and ESADMM for a return exhibition (and accompanying symposium) in January and February 2020, where interfaces between art, design and architecture will be further explored in the context of Greenwich\u2019s rich architectural history as well as the exhibition\u2019s surroundings in Stockwell Street. Senior lecturer David Waterworth stated “we\u2019re looking forward to hosting ESADMM and ARU in the University of Greenwich, Stockwell St. Galleries in the New Year<\/em>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
