A poster winner from each Faculty will receive \u00a3500 to support their research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ECR Poster Competition guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Each entrant should submit a PDF of their poster to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:researchservices@gre.ac.uk\">researchservices@gre.ac.uk<\/a><strong>,&nbsp;<\/strong>by&nbsp;<strong>20 November 2019<\/strong>.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>GRE will arrange for the posters to be printed.<\/li><li>Only one poster allowed per Early Career Researcher. Posters must relate to an aspect of their own research.<\/li><li> Posters should be able to be printed at A0 size and the orientation should be portrait.<\/li><li>ECRs submitting a poster must be able to attend the GRE Awards and Celebration Event, and present their poster to a panel of judges (register using the link above).<\/li><li>Posters will be assessed according to two criteria:<ul><li>Poster design \u2013 presentation and visual communication<\/li><li>Research content \u2013 how easily this can be understood by non-subject specialists<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, GRE are inviting applications for the Early Career Research Travel Bursary Scheme 2019\/20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Early Career Researcher Travel Bursary Scheme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The University seeks to provide these travel bursaries to invest in the career development of its ECRs so that they have the opportunity to attend conferences\/seminars to disseminate their work and maximise on networking opportunities.<\/li><li>A maximum of \u00a3750 can be applied for.<\/li><li>All applications must be agreed by the applicant\u2019s Head of Department<\/li><li>Completed application must be submitted to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:researchservices@gre.ac.uk\">researchservices@gre.ac.uk<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>26 November 2019.<\/strong><\/li><li>Further details and the application form are <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.gre.ac.uk\/rep\/gre\/ecr-travel-bursary-scheme-application-form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"here (opens in a new tab)\">here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the&nbsp;GRE Research &amp; Enterprise Awards and Celebration Day 2019&nbsp;(27 November) GRE is running the ECR Poster Competition, and would like to invite you to submit a poster.
