{"id":22,"date":"2024-06-10T09:36:45","date_gmt":"2024-06-10T08:36:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/nusc\/?p=22"},"modified":"2024-06-10T09:36:45","modified_gmt":"2024-06-10T08:36:45","slug":"business-thinking-extended-to-international-studies-presentation-on-organisational-learning-at-british-international-studies-association-bisa-conference-5-7-june-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/nusc\/2024\/06\/10\/business-thinking-extended-to-international-studies-presentation-on-organisational-learning-at-british-international-studies-association-bisa-conference-5-7-june-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Thinking Extended To International Studies: Presentation On Organisational Learning At British International Studies Association [BISA] Conference, 5-7 June 2024."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a><\/a><a>Birmingham turned on the sunshine for the prestigious <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/hashtag\/?keywords=bisa2024&amp;highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A7204809441873936386\">#BISA2024<\/a> conference this week, and BOS member Dr. John Tull helped shine a little light on the issue of how major defence organisations learn in an ever-more complex environment.<br><br>The paper <em>&#8220;Military Learning Practices: Organisational Learning in the Portuguese Army&#8221;<\/em>, &nbsp;based on 70+ interviews and workshops in Portugal, further elaborates John\u2019s ongoing collaborative research [via a project funded by the ESRC] to explore organisational learning and its effects on institutional adaptability and innovation.
