This year the University is again working with the National Union of Student’s ‘Student Switch Off’ campaign focused to help students in our halls save carbon by saving energy!
Friendly competitions help students via for the enviable prize of tubs and tubs of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream – awarded at the end of terms 1 & 2 to the flat (Avery Hill) or block that saves the most energy or engages the most in the many social media and promotional campaigns that are part of the project.
The project is also seeking volunteers to get training to promote and support our students to turn down their energy use – great for making friends and putting on the CV! For more information about these great opportunities and the project visit the Greenwich Student Switch Off Website now!!
