{"id":3579,"date":"2022-05-03T09:23:14","date_gmt":"2022-05-03T08:23:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/diversity\/?p=3579"},"modified":"2022-05-03T09:23:14","modified_gmt":"2022-05-03T08:23:14","slug":"inspirational-diversity-champion-of-the-month-june-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/diversity\/2022\/05\/03\/inspirational-diversity-champion-of-the-month-june-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Inspirational Diversity Champion of the Month &#8211; May 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/diversity\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2022\/05\/Frankie.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3586\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from 9 \u2013 15 May and this year\u2019s theme is loneliness.&nbsp; With this in mind we have chosen Frankie Bridge as our Inspirational Diversity Champion of the Month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frankie is a singer, songwriter and TV personality. &nbsp;She is a former member of groups S Club Juniors and The Saturdays and has appeared in various TV shows including Strictly Come Dancing, I\u2019m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and The Saturdays 24\/7 and is a regular panellist on Loose Women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frankie is an ambassador for the mental health charity Mind and chose to support them after opening up about her experiences of anxiety, depression and panic attacks back in May 2012.
