She made her professional acting debut as the young noblewoman\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lyanna_Mormont\">Lyanna Mormont<\/a>\u00a0in the\u00a0series\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Game_of_Thrones\">Game of Thrones<\/a>; she is also known for playing the leading role of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mildred_Hubble\">Mildred Hubble<\/a>\u00a0in the 2017\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/CBBC\">CBBC<\/a>\u00a0television series\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Worst_Witch_(2017_TV_series)\">The Worst Witch<\/a> and she is currently the voice of Hilda in the\u00a0Netflix series <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hilda_(TV_series)\">Hilda<\/a>. \u00a0 <br><br>Bella started acting as a hobby at the age of four, through\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stagecoach_Theatre_Arts\">Stagecoach Theatre Arts<\/a>&#8216;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Loughborough\">Loughborough<\/a>\u00a0branch, which she attended for seven years, she then went to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Central_Junior_Television_Workshop\">The Television Workshop<\/a>, where she began auditioning for professional jobs with her first credited role being in Game of Thrones. \u00a0 <br><br>Bella is an Ambassador for the Young Minds Charity, a charity whose aim it is to make sure young people are given the best possible mental health support and the resilience to overcome life\u2019s difficulties. \u00a0 She became an Ambassador because she is passionate about talking about mental health and destroying the stigma surrounding it and she wants to use the platform she has been given to have to help. \u00a0 <br><br>To find out more about Youth Mental Health Day see here <a href=\"https:\/\/www.awarenessdays.com\/awareness-days-calendar\/youth-mental-health-day-2020\/\">https:\/\/www.awarenessdays.com\/awareness-days-calendar\/youth-mental-health-day-2020\/<\/a> \u00a0 <br><br>To find out more about Young Minds see here <a href=\"https:\/\/youngminds.org.uk\/\">https:\/\/youngminds.org.uk\/<\/a> \u00a0 <br><br>To find out more about Bella see here <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bellaramsey.com\/\">http:\/\/www.bellaramsey.com\/<\/a> \u00a0<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Youth Mental Health Day is on 7 September and with that in mind we have chosen Bella Ramsey as our Inspirational Diversity Champion of the Month. \u00a0 Bella is an actress.
