See <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/designsupport\/model-workshop\/model-workshop\/\">the workshop page<\/a> for further details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7e4ac651328708ea719ac0894fa30934 wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Christmas Closure 2024<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teaching ends: Friday 13<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building 11 Closes: Friday 20<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building 11 Re-opens: Thursday 2<sup>nd<\/sup>January<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop Closes: Friday 13th December<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshop Reopens: Tuesday 7th January<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teaching Recommences: Monday 13th January<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c645e628e62f8fbab9d9726851472d16 wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c645e628e62f8fbab9d9726851472d16 wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7e4ac651328708ea719ac0894fa30934 wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7e4ac651328708ea719ac0894fa30934 wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c645e628e62f8fbab9d9726851472d16 wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Studio Code of Conduct :<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Do not disturb other tutorials<\/strong> \/ classes \/ crits by walking through them or being unduly loud near them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Portfolios and models should be left tidily in the racks<\/strong> \/ shelves \/ cages provided \u2013 with your name attached.&nbsp; Items left lying around will be moved to the portfolio racks or CritPit portfolio shelves.&nbsp; Long-term unclaimed items will be disposed of.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No spray mounting<\/strong> \/ spray painting \/ soldering anywhere in the studio \u2013 this can be done in the workshop; there are dedicated spray booths there.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hot works, naked flames, large scale sawing and other <strong>hazardous activities are not permitted<\/strong> &#8211; if in any doubt consult tech staff first.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do not stand on chairs<\/strong> or tables to reach higher places \u2013 use only the kicker stools or step ladders provided.&nbsp; Studio furniture must not be taken away from the first floor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No small electrical items<\/strong> such as KETTLES, TOASTERS, MICROWAVE OVENS \u2013 these will be confiscated by security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hot take-away style food should NOT to be consumed at the computers or within the computing areas. Smelly food is also NOT acceptable in the studio when it affects those around you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please report building issues such as <strong>leaks, power problems, suspicious behaviour and other hazards to a member of staff<\/strong> or FM helpdesk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Stockwell Street Reception security personnel are First Aid trained<\/strong>; in the event that such attention is needed contact \/ inform front desk reception.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take responsibility for YOUR studio by clearing up after yourselves; the cleaners can\u2019t clean the floor if they can\u2019t see it.&nbsp; There are bins and brooms around the studio \u2013 please use them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please ensure to <strong>maintain a respectful and professional work culture<\/strong> in line with the University of Greenwich\u2019s ethos of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity. As a student of the University of Greenwich you have all committed to the Students\u2019 Charter a community founded on mutual tolerance and respect.&nbsp;<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/student-services\/student-charter\">https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/student-services\/student-charter<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Studio Operation <\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The studio <strong>walls \/ tables will be reset to the default layout<\/strong> each weekday morning.&nbsp; Classes have priority for use of walls and furniture \u2013 only take tables and chairs after classes have started and only if they are not being used by those classes.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exercise caution when moving any large walls<\/strong>\/dividers\/tables; check for obstructions, open floor boxes, etc. in the path of moving furniture.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Studio Assistants \u2013 identified by \u201cSUPPORT STAFF\u201d shirts \u2013 are on duty to offer assistance with computing \/ printing \/ studio activities during core hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Design Studios : Term Time Access Workshop: Term Time Access .
