{"id":22,"date":"2015-06-02T15:23:39","date_gmt":"2015-06-02T15:23:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/fachsupport\/?page_id=22"},"modified":"2015-06-02T15:23:39","modified_gmt":"2015-06-02T15:23:39","slug":"design-studios","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/designsupport\/design-studios\/","title":{"rendered":"Design &amp; Computing Studios"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first floor of the Stockwell Street S11 Building consist of 10 large design \/ teaching spaces and the computer areas and plotting facilities.<\/p>\n<p>During term time the studios are open from\u00a08.00 until midnight.<\/p>\n<p>The process for organising these spaces is this:<\/p>\n<p>Each morning the dividers \/ tables \/ chairs \/ screens will be moved to the standard layout \u2013 indicated in the plans below \u2013 ready for taught classes at 10.00<\/p>\n<p>If a class is requiring\u00a0a different layout or special configuration then this\u00a0should be communicated first to\u00a0the Design Support Team<\/p>\n<p>Rearranging of panels \/ tables should not be at the expense of other classes \u2013 do not drag someone else\u2019s furniture away unless it is clear it is not\u00a0being used.<\/p>\n<p>Studio Assistants are on hand from 8.30AM weekdays to help with moving furniture<\/p>\n<p>Student Assistants will check machines restarting \/ logging out machines; repairing and reconnecting where they can &#8211; or referring non-trivial problems to tech support<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"636\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/designsupport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2021\/08\/Studio-Layout-Poster-2021-2022-1-636x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/designsupport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2021\/08\/Studio-Layout-Poster-2021-2022-1-636x1024.jpg 636w, https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/designsupport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2021\/08\/Studio-Layout-Poster-2021-2022-1-186x300.jpg 186w, https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/designsupport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2021\/08\/Studio-Layout-Poster-2021-2022-1-768x1237.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.gre.ac.uk\/designsupport\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2021\/08\/Studio-Layout-Poster-2021-2022-1.jpg 914w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 636px) 100vw, 636px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first floor of the Stockwell Street S11 Building consist of 10 large design \/ teaching spaces and the computer areas and plotting facilities.
