Our current projects are focussed on COVID-19 and children&#8217;s views of coronavirus and return to school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you represent an organisation (private, NGO, charity, school or other) and are interested in collaboration on a project, please contact us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The centre hosts two clusters: Cluster for the Study and Play and Recreation and Youth Wellbeing Theme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cluster for the Study of Play and Recreation<\/strong> has expertise in multi-disciplinary approaches to childhood, youth studies and education. It links theory and fieldwork in all aspects of play and recreation, from infancy to old age, across cultures and nations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cluster is headed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/people\/rep\/faculty-of-education-and-health\/mary-clare-martin\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/people\/rep\/faculty-of-education-and-health\/mary-clare-martin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr Mary Claire Martin<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more details click here:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/eduhea\/research\/cspr\/home#research\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/eduhea\/research\/cspr\/home#research <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Youth Wellbeing Theme<\/strong> builds on research conducted over the past fifteen years looking at children and adolescents\u2019 behaviour and attitudes. Current and on-going research focuses on children\u2019s attitudes towards debt, environmental behavior and sustainability and cultural differences in understanding and provision for antisocial behavior in schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Current and previous research work has included funded projects in London, Kent and South-East England as well as with partners in national and international organisations. Researchers have well-established research links with local partners, across the UK, Europe and worldwide (including France, Spain, Latin America, Australia, Africa and China).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cluster is co-led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/people\/rep\/faculty-of-education-and-health\/pam-maras\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/people\/rep\/faculty-of-education-and-health\/pam-maras\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Professor Pam Maras<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/people\/rep\/faculty-of-education-and-health\/amy-moon\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gre.ac.uk\/people\/rep\/faculty-of-education-and-health\/amy-moon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr Amy Moon<\/a>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We conduct projects on issues related to vulnerable children, young people and families.
