Expanding its traditional role as a charity supporting the study and practice of law, the ICLR is hosting a series of public discussions around such concepts as truth, accuracy, reliability, and the role of writers and reporters in the digital age.
In the first of these ICLR Encounters, Jon Snow and Elanor Dymott discuss the pursuit of truth from the different perspectives of a tv journalist and presenter, on the one hand, and a lawyer turned novelist on the other.
Details, including how to book, are on their ICLR Encounters web page.

There do not seem to be any exhibitions in Greenwich devoted to Dickens, but Greenwich featured in many of his works so here is a small contribution in the shape of our book display in the Dreadnought Library.

New Lawtel Search
February 1st, 2012 by Sarah CroftsThe new Lawtel search screen is coming soon (subject to final testing). They say:
With the new search, you’ll be able to search all the content you subscribe to from the homepage, then filter out the results you don’t want until you’re just left with the ones most relevant to you. And you can change your search as you go, without having to start from the beginning again.
Read their online bulletin.
