WEEK ONE:

Monday 29th Feb: Fairtrade Pledge Stall, Medway – Pilkington Cafe 12-2pm Pop down to our display stall to chat about all things Fairtrade – maybe you’ll even make a pledge for the future and help our tree bloom!

Tuesday 1st March: Food Mileage Stall, Avery Hill – The Dome 12-2pm Come and have a chat with us about food mileage – where our food comes from and how far it travels. Play some games and maybe even get some free nibbles!

Wednesday 2nd March: The Future of Food and Fairtrade Talk with The Fairtrade Foundation – Greenwich, QA238 1:30pm Dan Morey, Innovation Manager at The Fairtrade Foundation will be giving his take on just what the future might hold for both our food supply and ethical principles like the Fairtrade brand. Followed by a Q&A and then FREE, Fairtrade food and refreshments for everyone! future food

Thursday 3rd March: Fairtrade Wine & Cheese Night followed by Pub Quiz – Greenwich, Bar Latitude 5pm (quiz starts 7pm) For just  couple of pounds taste some different organic cheeses with up to five samples (25ml) of Fairtrade wine – and the chance to win more wine later on in our pub quiz!wine & cheese

WEEK TWO:

Monday 7th March: Food Mileage Stall – Greenwich, Queen Mary Undercroft 12-2pm Come and have a chat with us about food mileage – where our food comes from and how far it travels. Play some games and maybe even get some free nibbles!

Tuesday 8th March: Green Finger Workshop & Grow Your Own Giveaway – Avery Hill, Edible Garden 12-2pm Come down to our gorgeous edible garden and find out how you too can be a sustainable, green machine in the outdoors! With one of the lovely Sustainability Hub Ambassadors, we’ll be handing out FREE Grow Your Own kits so you can try at home!grow your own

Wednesday 9th March: Silent But Deadly with Global Justice Now – Medway, J122 1pm Alex Scrivener from the charity Global Justice Now will be joining us to speak about their recent report Silent but Deadly – looking into the truth of emissions from the agribusiness industry and whether we can find any truth in the big corporation’s claims. Friday 11th March: Toxic Tour and D.I.Y. Cosmetics with The Women’s Environmental Network, Greenwich 2pm Come and find out what nasties are hiding in commercial beauty products and how to avoid them, and then try your hand at making some of your own 100% natural & sustainable products to take home and keep you looking beautiful!
