Welcome to the University of Greenwich Sustainability Blog!

Here at the University of Greenwich, we are proud to have maintained our ‘First Class Award’ in the People & Planet’s University Green League since 2012 and we are currently ranked as the 18th most sustainability institution in the UK!

We provide teaching and research opportunities for over 25,000 students, and our research has been judged by peers as world-leading, while many of our award-winning students and staff are celebrated for their achievements and contributions to society.

Our main sustainability pages on the University’s website will inform you about our strategy & policy, action areas, project successes and opportunities, and what drives us forwards to deliver a better future.

On these blog pages, you will find past student experiences from working in the Sustainability Team, annual event highlights, in-depth project details and how you can contribute to sustainable research.

Whether you are a student or member of staff, or member of our community, there is a huge variety of projects and activities you can become involved with.  We all have the power to make a positive difference, no matter how small the action.

Don’t forget to check out our awards and accreditations; illustrating our progress and how your ideas and innovations can bring recognition and sustainable success. If you have any questions or would like to get in touch, check out our team and how to connect with us pages.
