The lecture will focus on atmospheric perceptive awareness as an attitude to expand the way we read, transform and interact with our reality. This attitude will catalyse a spontaneous connection with our environment, with others and with ourselves, which is related to environmental, social and mental or imaginative aspects respectively. A group of aspects that is able to configure an ecological attitude. According to this, we will go through a collection of different landscape and open space or architectural projects developed by our office – Gálvez+Wieczorek Architecture – in relation to four blocks: The direct experience and the definition of an atmospheric perceptive awareness; the expansion of the quotidian experience through a somatic connection with the environment; the urban obsolescence as an opportunity to re-read and re-build reality; and tools ready to be used in the development of implementations and new synergies.
